Thousands in the Ghanaian diaspora want to invest back home but assume they must travel to register a business. You do not. In 2026 you can register a company or business name in Ghana entirely online, from the UK, USA, Canada or anywhere.
What you need from abroad
A valid passport or Ghana Card, a TIN (we prepare the GRA form if you do not have one), a Ghana digital address for the registered office, and — for a company — at least one director resident in Ghana. If you do not have a resident director or a local secretary, we can advise on options.
Signing from another country
Signatures can be captured online, and our platform lets each director or subscriber sign from their own phone via a secure link — so co-founders in different countries can each sign their part. Statutory declarations that must be sworn before a Commissioner for Oaths are handled separately.
Foreign ownership & capital
Companies with foreign shareholders face minimum capital requirements under the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) rules. We will advise you on the threshold that applies to your ownership split.
Track everything remotely
You follow every step from your dashboard and receive your certificate in a secure vault — no queues, no proxy, no trips home.
